The core team consists of three part-time teachers. An intern completes the team on an annual basis. The team is open to additional interns, as it would like to support the professional training of young professionals, provided that there are qualitative framework conditions and resources for the training of the interns. A pool of jumpers supports the team in the event of staff shortages.
The premises
The children's shop consists of several rooms. First there is a large group room, which is used as a dining room for breakfast and lunch on the one hand and for smaller painting and handicraft offers, project work and meetings on the other hand, as well as for quiet games. It also includes a reading corner and shelves with games, books and craft supplies. A kitchen and an office are attached to this room, but the children only have limited access to them. A second group room with a doll's corner, building corner and upholstered corner allows for romping on the one hand, but also constructive play and role-playing on the other, and is used for the midday rest. The cloakroom, which can be separated off with a curtain, is often used as a further play option, which satisfies the need for retreat. Next to the cloakroom is the washing and toilet room with a changing station.
