Wild time in Lindersberg

"Five days without parents? Does it work? – If you tell family or friends about our annual Kinderladen trip, you can expect strong reactions (from enthusiasm to horror). Anyone who has ever been there knows: It works! Actually very good!

In one week in early summer, all the wild children and the entire team make their way to the Lindersberg scout house (near Feuerstein Castle - approx. 50 minutes away by car). There are also a handful of parents who take care of the physical well-being on site.

Anyone who has been there (big or small) wants to go back to Lindersberg! Already in winter the anticipation increases and the old children infect the Lindersberg newcomers with it. A few weeks before departure, as a kind of preliminary exercise, an overnight stay (without parents!) takes place in the children's shop.

A large proportion of the children in Lindersberg have been separated from their parents for a long time for the first time ever. The children grow beyond themselves these days when they - safe and secure in a group of familiar people - are solely responsible for many things that their parents would otherwise take care of. Everyone comes back from Lindersberg a head taller!

In addition to developing the personality of each individual child, the trip makes an essential contribution to strengthening the group feeling: friendships are formed and deepened and the children grow together as a community across all age groups. And the parents also grow together again in the joint organisation, as a kitchen team on site or at the joint celebrations on the last evening (with an overnight stay).
